Holiday Program | Secrets and Stories I

This workshop is part of the “Audio Productions” module. Here you will learn the basics of voice-based audio productions and dramaturgy, and produce audio tracks for the “Museum Buddy” together with professional art educators, artists, authors, sound designers and/or musicians. The finished audio tracks will then take children on an exciting journey of discovery through the museum!

The “Museum Buddy” is a project of the Udo and Anette Brandhorst Foundation and is funded by the Bavarian Cultural Fund.

The “Museum Buddy” is a very special companion for children aged 4 and over at Museum Brandhorst. It takes children on a scavenger hunt through the museum, illustrates works of art with sound, and tells art secrets and stories!

The special thing about it is that we design both the audio pieces and the technical experience of the “Museum Buddy” co-creatively, i.e. together with children, young people and adults. All this is made possible by a cooperation with tonies® and funding from the Bavarian Cultural Fund.

From March 2025, every family, group and class will be able to use the “Museum Buddy” free of charge by borrowing a “tonie” box or building their own device at Museum Brandhorst.
