Description

Are you between 12 and 18 years old and interested in art, design, technology and UX design? Have you always wanted to hack your audio player or Toni box so that they can do even more cool things? Then we've got just the thing for you!

Help Museum Brandhorst to make the exhibition visit exciting for children! Immerse yourself in the world of art education at Museum Brandhorst and become part of the “Museum Buddy” audio project, which we are carrying out in cooperation with tonies®. The “Museum Buddy” is an interactive audio device that invites children on an exciting audio scavenger hunt through Museum Brandhorst! It will illustrate works of art with sound, and tell art secrets and stories.

In this holiday program, you will learn more about the underlying technology and its possibilities based on the prototype. You will learn the basics of UX design, control and feedback elements (e.g. various light and sound signals) and develop new features for the “Museum Buddy”! The workshop is run by creative technologist Dr. Beat Rossmy.
