Texts for Instagram posts, comments on photos on the internet, stories with images and words – writing and photography are often combined these days. It’s easy to do on any smartphone. But how how do you write poetically about photographs? How does a pictorial image change through language?
In this writing workshop, led by poet Asmus Trautsch, we will select photographs from the exhibition “This Is Me, This Is You” and try our hand at writing creatively about them. We will explore lyrical techniques and write poems that expand our view of photos in an exciting way. No previous knowledge required.
